Video surveillance captures break-in at Guelph enterprise, police investigating
A man was reportedly caught on video breaking into a Guelph business on early Wednesday, June 8, police said.
According to a Guelph Police news release, video captured a man cutting a hole in a fence at a business in the area of Speedvale Avenue East and Eramosa Road at around 12:30 am “He entered the yard and cut the locks off two storage containers ,” police said.
The man allegedly removed equipment, including a jigsaw, electric heater, concrete mixer and a sander. However, police said, the man was unable to carry all the tools with him, so he left some behind.
The man is described as white and had his face covered during the break-in. He was seen wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and gloves.
