Man Suspected In 2017 Taking pictures Demise Is Extradited To LA – CBS Guelph
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Authorities on Sunday announced the arrest of a man suspected of the death of Emma Rodriguez-Estrada in Guelph in 2017.
Police said Andres Zambrano has remained stellar since 2017. With the assistance of the LAPD-FBI Fugitive Task Force and Mexican authorities, police said the 26-year-old was in Colima, Mexico, and was arrested last Friday.
Zambrano is accused of shooting Rodriguez-Estrada, who died in hospital, on March 16, 2017. Zambrano was Rodriguez-Estrada’s estranged husband, whom she dated the day in question, according to the Guelph Times. After her death, Zambrano was placed on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted Refugee List.
“The success of this investigation is due not only to the efforts of investigators at the South Bureau Homicide, but above all to the relentless commitment of employees of the Gang and Narcotics Division, the LAPD-FBI Fugitive Task Force,” said a police press release .
After his arrest, Zambrano was extradited back to LA.
