Mark your calendars, the Guelph Royals schedule is out for the 2023 Intercounty Baseball League season.
The Royals begin its 42-game schedule on the road in Hamilton Friday, May 19.
The home opener will be a day later, when the Kitchener Panthers travel up Highway 7 for a Saturday afternoon tilt at Hastings Stadium on May 20.
Every home game is scheduled to take place on either a Saturday (14 games) or a Tuesday (seven games). All eight IBL teams will play one another six times.
The Royals are coming off a 31-12 regular season record in 2022, and were eliminated by the Cardinals in five games in the first round of the playoffs.
The IBL season starts Sunday, May 14 in Toronto, as the defending champion London Majors visit the Maple Leafs in a rematch of last year’s finals.
