Guelph man arrested in reference to theft of greater than a dozen watches in July
A Guelph man has been charged in connection with the theft of more than a dozen watches during a break and enter in July, Guelph Police Service said in a news release.
On July 6 officers were called to a business in the area of Silvercreek Parkway North and Woodlawn Road West. An employee had arrived at work to find a rear window smashed, and approximately 12 to 15 watches each valued at $150 missing, police said.
A suspect was identified through surveillance video and arrested Sunday morning. A 66-year-old Guelph male is charged with break and enter and is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court Sept. 23.
