OpenTable’s Top 100 Most Beloved Restaurants in Canada has just been released and two Guelph area restaurants made this year’s list.

“The list celebrates the most beloved restaurants of Canada’s hospitality scene,” OpenTable said in a news release. The food establishments were selected based on more than one million reviews made by OpenTable diners and includes Michelin star restaurants as well as popular local spots.

“From elevated eateries to bistros and neighborhood gems, Canada’s culinary diversity is reflected in this year’s list with a range of cuisines at varying price points.”

Guelph’s Earth to Table: Bread Bar, famous for its all-you-can-eat brunch, made the list. The restaurant, located on Gordon Street, features a menu that includes stone-baked pizza, soups, salads, and mains like their muffuletta sandwich and taco bowl among others. The most popular items among OpenTable reviewers are the Mvpizza, calamari, and summer salad.

Also in the list is the Elora Mill Restaurant that features a menu that “changes in tandem with the seasons,” according to the OpenTable page.

“Drawing inspiration from the Indigenous bounty of local fare, the essence of the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa’s food philosophy is heightened by an uncompromising esthetic and exceptional service,” reads the description.

Located along Mill Street West in Elora, the place is popular for its floor to ceiling glass walls that afford a breathtaking view of the Elora Gorge Falls and river. The fine dining restaurant’s most popular dishes include its East Coast oysters, terrine (ham hock with foie gras) and butternut squash soup.
